Battle of Loos
William left London for France. He was captured at the Battle of Loos and interred as a POW.
Emma was left with eight children to feed. William returned from the POW camp in 1919. They were monitored by the Government. They handed over their children that year. Who made the decision?

Most of the Kite family were christened, which would indicate there was a belief system. (Dad was Protestant, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Catholicism was there in the Walton family or even Jewish, given they were dealing with the textile industry.
