William left London for France. He was captured at the Battle of Loos and interred as a POW.

Education perhaps gives us more reasons to challenge the unknown, the beliefs, positive or negative. Religion in 2025 may be non-existent, and churches are being sold for their land. The days of a religious man telling a person how to live have gone. Most of the Kite family were christened, which would indicate there was a belief system. (Dad was Protestant, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Catholicism was there in the Walton family or even Jewish, given they were dealing with the textile industry.
